Behind the curtains
Harut and Lusine are a husband and wife musical duo and founders of Lunamore Music. Before launching a career together, Harut and Lusine both had had solo musical careers. Based in the same town the artists met over a musical project for their students and soon after fell in love and got married.The couple-duo currently revives all time favorite music and brings it to stage with their own touch of change.
Reviving the music
All the song accompaniment transcriptions and arrangements are done by Harut
Harut has been teaching his students the art of classical and flamenco guitar since 2007 and has had numerous concerts with his apprentices over the years. Many of the songs that disappeared throughout the time with no trace of notes, have inspired him to revive and write the notes and arrangements thus bringing new life to the music lost in time.
The voice
All the vocal transcriptions of the group are done and performed by Lusine.
Lusine, the voice behind Lunamore Music, sings in Spanish, English, Italian, French and other languages thus offering a variety of all genres of music.
Having a background as the leading soloist of Armenian National Ensemble “Nazani”, she has brought the Armenian Folk touch to the group Harut & Lusine, performing songs by composers such as Sayat Nova, Komitas, Sheram and others. She also is the voice of the audio CD for the music book “Akna Folk Songs (Komitas).” She collaborates with world famous Orchestras such as Naregatsi, Davtyan and Altunian Orchestras. Along with her professional career Lusine coaches her students and participates as a guest judge in national musical competitions.
